So, besides the noon light, this was a really fun event to shoot and it was a pretty interesting concept. Men pick out a pair of heels and walk a mile in them, to realize that, 1...it's not comfortable, 2.it hurts your feet, and 3.it's hard to walk, and 4. women don't complain about it.
I heard a lot of complaining and saw a lot of blisters, but I was impressed. I thought about joining in, but running in heels with photo-equipment probably wouldn't have been the best idea. But besides being completely hysterical, this event also has a purpose. "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" is an international organization whose goal is to stop "Stop Rape, Sexual Assault & Gender Violence."

It was a fun event that has a powerful purpose. Hope you enjoy the photos.
How they collected enough heels in the sizes needed to fit all the contestants, I'll never know.
This guy did some serious walking.
